| General Overview | Nixon began his career in Starfleet in the decade leading up to the Dominion War. Due to attrition within the fleet during the war he found himself quickly promoted in battlefield situations from Junior Tactical Officer, to Assistant Chief Tactical, to Chief Tactical, then Second Officer. Following the battle of Cardassia and the loss of the USS Alliance's Commanding and First Officers, Nixon was once again promoted this time to the centre seat. Peter found himself at ease with Tactics and Diplomacy at the Academy which led him into the Tactical and Security field. Despite his curious nature, he does at times find his 'tactical' mindset puts him at odds with his colleagues who are more scientifically minded. |
